Midnight Memories

Whew, as promised, I have returned with New Years Kit! I hope everyone likes it. I had a world of trouble getting it done, PSP decided not to cooperate at one point and I thought I was going to have to start over. I think this is fun kit, I wasn't sure about the color palette at first but I think it looks wonderful!

I put the kit on SendSpace this time, it seems less confusing than RapidShare. Just click on the link and then scroll down the page to find the link for the zip file. It's under a bunds of advertisements :p!

Christmas!

I can't believe it's Christmas already! I STILL have two of the boys presents to wrap. Thank goodness, they are still asleep *whew*! They are so little they probably don't care anyway. I've been totally glued to 24 hours of a Christmas Story on TBS. Is that pathetic LOL? I hope not, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that movie. It's a timeless Christmas classic to me. I'm still working on my New Years Kit. I've finally got all the papers and ribbons done. I keep starting on the tags but then deleting them. For some reason I can't get them like I want. I guess I'll just keep expirementing with tag shapes until I find the right one for the kit. Well, I guess I'll stop rambling on now.

Winter Whimsy Kit!

Hello everyone :)!

Well, as promised I have returned with my second freebie :D! I call this one my Winter Whimsy Kit. It's roughly the same size as Merry and Bright BUT I have broken down the zips into smaller files, in case there are any dial-up scrappers out there ;). This one is a bit more feminine with blues and purples. I'm actually quite surprised at myself. As a mom of TWO boys, I'm always bummed that there aren't more cute/cool boy kits. When I started the kit, I had intended to focus on blue with just hints of purple, but I think I went the other way *lol*. It was actually kind of nice to play around with the lavenders and periwinkles a bit. For what it is worth, I still think I can get several boy LO's out of it LOL!

I'm hoping to find a place to sell my kits, as I currently can't afford the overhead of my own site. However, I will still offer regular kit sized freebies here, even if I do manage to start selling, I promise ;)!

I'm currently working on a New Years Kit, which is funny b/c we NEVER go out for New Years LOL. I know many scrappers do though, so I hope you can get some enjoyment out of it :p! It has a more modern "grown up" feel to it. Of course, my little designing brain is still thinking ahead to the next one. I'm determined to put a nice boy kit out there soon too :D!

First Post and First Kit

I'm so excited to have started blogging :)! I guess I should tell a little about myself. I've been married for *almost* 5 years to my dh, Marshall. We have two boys, Gabriel and Tristan. We also have one little princess in Heaven, Katriel, born sleeping at 17 weeks. The most painful I've ever experienced. Shortly after losing our little Katriel, I decided to start digital scrapbooking. It has become a passion for me. It has helped me work through much of my grief. I am so thankful for that. I enjoy it so very much I am trying my hand at creating some of my own kits :). It's been a very interesting process for me. I want to share my creations as much as possible. I don't currently have my own hosting capabilities so I'll be sharing my freebies through RapidShare for now. Hope you don't mind ;)!

I think it's kind of Christmas and Wintery at the same time! It's just my first creation so please don't be too critical.
