Long time, no blog!

Hey scrappers in blogland. I DID NOT fall off the face of the earth...not really anyway. I am sort of back. I can't promise that I'll blog daily. I can't even promise that I'll blog weekly but I will blog when I can.

Life is busy. Very, very busy. I haven't had much time for anything scrap related. Really I haven't had much time for anything computer related at all. I have *tried* to check my e-mail daily and that is about it.

I have been making time to scrap lately. It felt so good to finally scrap after that long hiatus. I was nervous, kind of afraid I'd lost my skills but much to my relief they were intact. So I've been scrapping at every chance which hasn't been terribly often...but still there has been scrapping!

I also finally decided to design a little something. I don't have much just a few papers done. I have been imagining these papers for quite some time now but just haven't been able to find time to execute the idea. No idea when they might be done as I'm in absolutely no rush to finish them. It could be days, it could be weeks..even months...who knows?

I do have one bit of happy news to share with you all. I promised an age ago that I would tell you but never made it back to the blog. I'm ENGAGED! My sweet Tim popped the question and I accepted :)! I was going to try and save the announcement for a special layout but I keeping on deleting it. I can't get it perfect and I refuse to accept anything less than perfection.

Now, if you know me well enough, you may be thinking "Hey, isn't she still married?"

Well...the answer to that is yes. I am. Unfortunately. However, this seems to be something of a family tradition, become engaged before being divorced. Who am I to break family tradition?

Things may not be exactly perfect in my life but they are improving daily. God is guiding my family through this valley and I am humbled by his love and compassion. We will come through this tribulation with the strength and power of our Heavenly Father.
