Why is it?

...that when you are sitting in your 20th Century Lit Class, and are five months pregnant, you can at one moment be enthralled in what Dr. Guthrie is saying about the modernist movement in regards to Willa Cather's "Neighbour Rosicky" and then the next minute, he very much looks like a drumstick from KFC? So you shake your head to drive the image from your mind, but now you want fried chicken really badly. You can smell it you need it so badly. Now, Dr. Guthrie neither looks like a drumstick or Colonel Sanders, but when you try to focus back in on what he's saying, he's definitely Colonel Sanders taunting you from the front of the room. So you turn and ask your neighbor if there's a KFC nearby...since you commute to college and have never while in attendance, NEEDED to find a KFC. She's not sure.

......sigh.........

I managed to make it to the end of class and drove most of the way home, stopping at a KFC closer to home...since I can't eat a 2 peice dinner in the car anyway... BTW it was very very good :)

One thing I find fascinating about all of this?

I defnitiely had a prof that looked like Col. Sanders. But he never made me hungry. Just mad. Go figure!
